ALL ABOUT HENRY BEASLEY

I'm an actor, musician, and writer originally from New Westminster, BC, traditional territory of the Qayqayt Nation. I currently split my time between New Westminster and Tiohti:áke/Montreal, as I complete my studies in the Acting Program at The National Theatre School of Canada.

I work primarily in theatre, as an actor and musician, but I'm drawn to any project that captures my curiosity and attention, and offers a challenge or opportunity to learn something new. To me, theatre is a place to deepen our understanding of the human experience, whether we're on stage, working behind the scenes, or in the audience.

In my writing, some recurring themes include grief, and our relationship with technology. I’m specifically interested in exploring artificial intelligence, how technology affects our development, what we have to lose/gain as our technology advances so quickly, and who is left behind by these lightning-fast advances.
